I've finished my biscornu for the HOE Too Biscornu Exchange. I'm mailing it out this week so I'll wait until my exchange partner receives it to post a pic...don't want to spoil the surprise!!

I'm working on Little House Needleworks, Peace and Plenty at the moment...one of my WIP that I hope to finish soon. After that I'll get started on another piece for the Spooky Stitchers SAL. I picked up the Kreinik Halloween fiber pack for 50% off at Joann's clearance sale. Some of the braids are glow-in-the-dark so this should be fun. I'm not sure what I'm stitching yet, but it will be on neon green fabric using the Kreinik braids!
OK here's my post for the Totally Useless SAL New Moon post. It's a small jar but growing...I'm hoping to need a quart jar by the end of the year!! This a fun "no pressure" SAL!!!

Baby Pillow Finish

Here's the finished "Baby" Pillow. I've made it into a pillow using a beautiful purple/lavender paisley print for the outer border and back and a soft green that matches the "B" in the stitching for the inner border. The ribbon is a soft sparkly lavender organza type ribbon and the buttons on the corners have several shades of purple/lavender/green...a perfect match!

It's going in the mail today -- as a surprise for the new family.

This is the completed February band for the Mystery 2000 Sampler that I started way back in 2000! This is a personal SAL for me, I intend to finish it this year, stitching a band each month. So far I'm one month ahead of myself! Sorry about the shadow, I don't have the best lighting.

I've dug out all of my old UFOs/WIPs and moved them to my stitching corner. Hopefully I'll be motivated to work on some of them this year. One that I might be able to finish this year if I make it a personal SAL is the Mystery 2000 Sampler I started in...yes, wait for it...2000!! I stitched January and most of February and that was as far as I got. I'll post a pic here tomorrow if I manage to finish February!

Tonight I set up the Shepherd's Bush "Baby" piece that I'm stitching for our new grand-niece. I basted the fabric to scroll rods and pulled all the threads. I think it will stitch up quickly and then I plan to make it into a pillow.

Lots of stitching this weekend. The luxury of a 4 day weekend, I'm in stitching heaven...
Here's my piece for the Spooky Stitcher SAL for January.
